![]() You get MUCH more value than Egg, even assuming you want to enter every Chaos Gate you see. Even for cast builds, half of the relevant Chaos options do not scale at all with Rarity, making the egg useless half the time even if you were going for a super directed build.Īs the Tier List shows, Pom or Purse should be your starters for general play. It's one of the worst value propositions in the game. Egg heals you for 20 health in Tart + 40% chance to get rare (which is reduced by your legendary and epic chance increase from mirror) IF you find a Chaos Gate, which is not guaranteed. Olympians are now top tier in both Tartarus and Asphodel, joining Purse and Poms rather than second tier. Acorn and Bracers top the end game rather than Tooth and Collar. Most notably, Memory and Earring are now definitively #1 for end of run. Update : Created a more precise model when I was doing the weapon aspects tier list, went chamber by chamber in the impact weighings so several things moved. Hope this is useful to some players who are trying to figure out how to configure thier Keepsakes, and as always a HUGE thank you to the devs for making such a kick ass game! Or, I'll be streaming Hell Mode 16-25 Heat Bounties all night east coast time tonight and will be talking Hades then as well. ![]() Since 50% Butterfly is not hard, this means Butterfly all game long is generally the best play.Īlways happy to answer any questions if it's doable in a short paragraph here. To match the top-tier of mixing, you would need a total value of 2.6B+, which can be accomplished with near 100% completion of Plume, or near 50% completion of Butterfly. A significant drop after that to Collar, Tooth, and Sigil (if available). They slightly beat out the best defensive options, which are Bracers and Acorn. Everything kind of works here depending on what you need, but Shawl, Spearpoint and Egg are overall just a bit weaker than they should be.īest plays are Memory (if applicable) and Earrings. If you're struggling mid-game, there's no need to force Olympian. ![]() Generally, Duster and Hourglass are fairly powerful in this time, but both assume you require healing, and Collar is powerful as well assuming you lose death defiances. Poms are generally a poor choice in mid, as there are fewer encounters than in Tartarus. ![]() Olympians still second, but by Elysium, Olympians and Purse actually fall to the same area as most other Keepsakes and things really even out. If you haven't taken Purse yet, it's STILL the best in Asophdel. Egg is generally a poor choice throughout the game. There's a big falloff after that to the Collar/Hourglass/Duster healing crowd. Olympian is also strong, helping you set the tone for the run. Summary of the model results for Keepsakes with average weapon and no Heat:įirst is Purse, giving you excellent flexibility to start and a free Boon essentially. Full image of the Tier List is here (This has been updated since the video quite significantly). The full explanation video is here, and is only 90 minutes long this time. But if you can get it that high, it means you're not having issues anyway, so it would be fairly specific to a player/build that has no issues not taking ANY damage for the vast majority of encounters besides bosses/styx. And, on the top end, Butterfly is insane value if you can get it up. The exceptions are Egg and Shawl, which really never shine. I think the most interesting result is that all of the Keepsakes have a use, and in general are very well balanced. This one is less straightforward than the presentation for Heat since Keepsakes are and should be changed mid-run, and you can start to get a sense of why I don't plan on publishing the results for even more run dependent things like boons. More explanation on the model itself can be found in my previous post on the Pact of Punishment & Heat Tier List and the comments section. As promised last week, this is my Keepsakes Tier List according to my model.
